Their California burrito is SO good. This place isn't necessarily cheap, but the portions are huge. It's in a nice, quiet area away from the Wharf and the aren't any lines or tourists you need to worry about.
They also sell Mexican drinks like Jarritos and horchata. -

4.5 stars.
Damn. Why haven't I been here before? We've been around this area for over a year and as a self proclaimed SoCal girl haven't visited the nearest taqueria. I am ashamed.
This place is bomb. I got a chicken burrito to go and I was excited as heck, but I was blown away by the burrito once I actually started eating it. It was well marinated, moist, and the entire thing held together really well. Their salsa and other sauces were also great! They do NOT skimp on the spicy , perfect.
Unfortunately their side of chips were not as crispy as they could have been and made me wonder if they had been laying out for a day.
Regardless, I would LOVE to go back and maybe try their other faire.. or even another burrito by with shrimp? Fish? Literally, everything. Thanks you for existing. -

First time visit, only for tacos...Love the portion and the price of tacos.
You can call ahead of time to have your order ready for dine in.
The meats, both Assad and carnitas, were actual meats not fats, no fillers.
I have yet to try other items in the menu.
Customer service is not up there, it's decent. -

I know it's SF but $4 for a street taco?
Well, the ingredients are incredibly fresh and the meats are unquestionably high quality so I suppose that's what you're paying for.
It's a small joint that locals frequent and isn't known to tourists because it's a couple blocks away from the wharf, but this is what you should be eating when you're here because tourist food is the same wherever you go. In a town like SF which is known to be one of the greatest eating cities in the world, you should be searching off the beaten path.
Service is prompt.
Food is made to order.
Portions are fair.
Dining area is small and not filthy enough to make you walk out.
NO BEER.
If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite away from the hordes of tour busses and cruise ships, take a walk away from the noise and grab a seat here. You won't regret it. -

Amazing! We came here with family on a day trip to SF. Everyone wanted to eat here and with my wife, my son and I being vegan we thought we would be out of luck. The gentleman at the front was great, he helped us out made a bunch of recommendations. Unfortunately the rice isn't vegan/vegetarian friendly but we got nachos, beans, fajitas, guacamole, and pico. The flavors were great and I was pleasantly surprise not only with the food but the great customer service as well. Highly recommend.
